Simple Donut


  • flour (maida) 250 Grams(+ for 50 gm for kneading)
  • eggs 1 Nos
  • salt 1 Teaspoons
  • milk 50 Milliliters
  • water 30 Milliliters
  • Active dry East 7 Grams 1 Nos(packets)
  • Sugar 15 Grams
  • Butter 30 Grams(unsalted)
  • Castor sugar 50 Grams(to coat)
  • cinnamon powder 15 Grams(optional)


1.Take a bowl add sugar, dry east, water, milk, salt,

egg, mix it till the sugar melts.

2.Add all purpose flour, mix it well make in to a dough and kneading

for 8 to 10 minutes and add butter again kneading for few minutes and rest it

for 30 minutes in a warm place, after 30 minutes knead fr sometime and again rest for 30minutes or untill the dough becomes doube the size.

3.Take the dough and with help of rolling

pin roll it into 1/4 inch sheet and cut the doughnuts with doughnut cutter, transfer in to the tray, then rest for 10 to 15 minutes to rise.

4.Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the doughnuts

in a slow flame till brown in colour, take in a serving plate and sprinkle some casting sugar along with cinnamon on it.
