Mambazha Pulissery / Curd based mango curry(sweet & sour)

INGREDIENTS

  • Mangoes 3 Nos(small sweet mangoes)
  • Chilly powder 1 Teaspoons
  • Blended curd 2 Cups
  • Grated coconut 1.5-2 Cups
  • Cumin seeds 2 Pinch
  • Mustard 2 Teaspoons
  • Fenugreek 1 Pinch
  • Red chilly 3 Nos
  • Turmeric Pwdr 1/2 Teaspoons
  • curry leaves 1 sprigs
  • salt some To Taste
  • oil 2 Tablespoons

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1.Clean the mangoes, peel the skin and slice it into pieces.
  • 2.Mix the mango pieces, chill, turmeric powder, little water and salt and cook it in a vessel.
  • 3.Grind the coconut and Cumin seeds into a paste.
  • 4.Mix the paste with the cooked mangoes.
  • 5.Add the beaten curd and keep for few min.Make sure that the mix doesnt get boil.
  • 6.Switch off the flame and keep stirring the mix for another 1-2 minutes. The mix needs to be stirred for some time to make sure it does not separate out.
  • 7.Heat oil in a pan.Crackle mustard ,fenugreek seeds and add curry leaves pour it on the curry.
